Local football standouts compete in military bowl games
The West fought their way to a 17-14 victory over the East in the inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix. Playing for the East included Homestead High School linebacker James Burgess, Miami Central defensive back Donaldven Manning and Westminster Christian quarterback David Thompson.
